20 Conservation Areas.

‘To help and protect and conserve Solihull’s unique character as a 'Town in the Country'.
The local planning authority (LPA) performs consultative assessments to ensure works to protected trees in conservation areas are carefully reviewed, considered, communicated and decided.

‘Any tree, located within a conservation area, over 75mm in diameter at 1.5m above ground level is given automatic protection and no cutting, removal, wilful damage or destruction is allowed without giving prior notification to the Local Planning Authority.’
